SCHEDULE OF LANE CLOSURES (Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.)

Note: No work will be done on Monday due to the Labor Day holiday.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

KAHALA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Shoulder closure of the Kilauea Avenue Off-Ramp (Exit 27) from the freeway in the westbound direction for storm drain cleaning.

PEARL CITY
8 p.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday through Friday morning: Up to two lanes closed in the eastbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway Overpass and the Waiawa Road Overpass for the rail project. The number of lanes closed will vary depending on the location of the roadwork.

PEARL CITY TO WAIPAHU
9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Two right lanes closed in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu Off-Ramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 Split for deck widening.

PEARL HARBOR
8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Right lane closure of the Arizona Memorial/Stadium Off-Ramp (Exit 15A) of the freeway to Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction for the rail project.

SALT LAKE TO HONOLULU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT 
6 p.m.-5 a.m. Tuesday through Friday morning: Partial closures of the Keehi Interchange ramps on the freeway in the eastbound direction for deck sealing. All ramps will remain open.

Now through 3 p.m Sunday: Two left lanes closed in the westbound direction between the Keehi Interchange and the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Off-Ramp (Exit 15B) for deck sealing. All ramps will remain open.

WAIAWA INTERCHANGE
Tuesday through Friday morning for the rail project:

H-1/H-2 Freeways near Leeward Community College

  • Up to three eastbound lanes of the freeway approaching the H-1/H-2 merge (Waiawa Interchange) closed overnight.
  • Number of lanes closed each night may vary depending on location of work along freeway.

Farrington Highway to H-1 Freeway

  • Eastbound Waipahu on-ramp closed 9 p.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday through Friday morning.

Freeway Waipahu off-ramp

  • Westbound Waipahu off-ramp closed closed 9 p.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday through Friday morning.

Farrington Highway near Leeward Community College entrance

  • Westbound lanes of the highway near Waiawa Road will be crossed over to the eastbound side 8 p.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday through Friday morning.

WAIPAHU
9 p.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday through Friday morning: Closure of the Waipahu Off-Ramp (Exit 8B) from the freeway in the westbound direction for the rail project.

KANEOHE
8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between the Mokapu Saddle Road Underpass and the Kamehameha Highway Off-Ramp for median maintenance.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

EAST KAPOLEI/EWA
7:30 p.m.-5 a.m. weekdays: Closed between Kualakai Parkway (North-South Road) and Old Fort Weaver Road Loop for the rail project. Also 24/7 8 p.m.-5 a.m. Friday through Monday, Sept. 14.

NANAKULI
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday: Right lane closure in the northbound direction between Laumania Avenue and Nanakuli Avenue for utility repairs.

8 p.m.-4 a.m. Wednesday through Thursday: Roving lane closures in both directions between Helelua Street and Laumania Avenue for restriping work.

PEARL CITY
8 p.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday through Friday morning: Two lanes closed in the westbound direction between Waiawa Road and the Kamehameha Highway Overpass for the rail project.

WAIPAHU
9 p.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday through Friday morning: Lane closure of the eastbound on-ramp to the H-1 Freeway for the rail project.

  • Inside lanes of the highway closed 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Leoku Street to Leokane Street

  • Leoku Street intersection closed 7 p.m.-6 a.m. weeknights. Traffic detoured to Leokane Street, plus Saturday, as needed.
  • Left turn from the highway westbound at Leoku Street closed 24/7.
  • Inside lanes of the highway closed 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., plus Saturday as needed.
  • Westbound lanes of the highway closed 7 p.m.-6 a.m., plus Saturday as needed.

Pupukahi Street to Pupupuhi Street

  • Inside lanes of the highway closed 24/7.

Aniani Street to Waipahu Depot Street

  • 8 p.m.-8 a.m. Saturday through Sunday morning: Portions of westbound lanes will be coned off and traffic will be rerouted to eastbound lanes, with HPD assistance.

HAWAII KAI
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in the eastbound direction between West Hind Drive and Lunalilo Home Road for pavement striping installations as part of the Kalanianaole Highway Resurfacing project.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in the eastbound direction between Kealahou Street and the Hawaii Kai Golf Course for utility installations.

  • One inside lane eastbound and one lane westbound closed 24/7 with left turn restrictions.

Pali Momi Street to Honomanu Street

  • One westbound lane closed 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  • Two westbound lanes closed 8 p.m.-7 a.m.
  • Two eastbound lanes closed 7 p.m.-5:30 a.m. Various left turn pocket restrictions will be in place.
  • Intersection at Pali Momi Street closed after 10 p.m.

Near Aloha Stadium-Honomanu Street to Salt Lake Boulevard

  • Up to three westbound lanes closed 8 p.m.-7 a.m. Various left turn restrictions in place.
  • One westbound lane closed 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
  • Two eastbound lanes closed 7 p.m.-5:30 a.m.
  • Up to three westbound lanes of Salt Lake Blvd. will be closed 8 p.m.-7 a.m.

HAUULA
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Kawaipuna Street and Punaluu Valley Road for utility repairs.

KAAAWA
7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in the northbound direction between Keo Place and Trout Farm Road for emergency shoreline improvements. Traffic will be contraflowed in the remaining open lane.

8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday: Lane closure in the southbound direction between Kahana Valley Road and Kina Place for pole replacements.

KANEOHE
8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday: Lane closure in the southbound direction between Kualoa Regional Park and Johnson Road for pole replacements.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in the southbound direction between Kaaawa Park Lane and Kualoa Regional Park for utility repairs.

KANEOHE TO HAUULA
8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Pokiwai Place and Waiahole Valley Road for utility repairs and tree trimming.

LAIE TO KAHUKU
8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closure in both directions between Kuilima Drive and Hale Laa Boulevard for utility repairs and tree trimming.

MILILANI
8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Lane closures in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Waihau Street for guardrail and pavement striping installations. One lane in both directions will be open for motorists at all times. Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and use alternate roadways such as Kuahelani Avenue, Meheula Parkway, Lanikuhana Avenue, Ka Uka Boulevard and the H-2 Freeway.

PEARL CITY TO AIEA 
Honolulu Rail Transit will be working on Kamehameha Highway this week at various locations.

  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Waiawa Road and Acacia Road.
  • Westbound lane near Acacia Road closed 8 p.m.-7 a.m. with various left turn restrictions, eastbound lane closed between 7 p.m.-5:30 a.m.
  • 24/7 lane closures in both directions between Acacia Road and Waimano Home Road.
  • 24/7 lane closures between Waimano Home Road and Puu Momi Street.
  • 24/7 lane closures between Puu Momi Street and Puu Poni Street.
  • 24/7 lane closures between Puu Poni Street and Kuleana Street. Westbound lanes closed 9 p.m.-7 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Eastbound lanes closed 10 p.m.-7 a.m., with traffic detoured northbound on Puu Poni Street to Moanalua Road.
  • Two eastbound lanes between Kuleana Road and Kaonohi Street closed 7 p.m.-5:30 a.m. Two westbound lanes closed 8 p.m.-7 a.m. with various left turn restrictions. One westbound lane closed 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

Kamehameha Highway from Halawa Drive to Radford Drive

  • One westbound lane closed 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
  • Westbound bus stop at Kamehameha Highway and Radford Drive temporarily relocated closer to intersection between 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Makai Frontage Road (off-ramp) from Kamehameha Highway/Plantation Drive to Valkenburgh Street

  • One eastbound lane of the highway off-ramp closed 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Makai Frontage Road (off-ramp) from Kamehameha Highway/Plantation Drive to Valkenburgh Street

  • Left turn only lane into Makalapa Gate may be routed into the contraflow lane along the median between 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

  • Up to two eastbound lanes closed between 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Right lane closure in the westbound direction between Pacific Street and Alakawa Street for excavation and utility installations.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Roving single lane closures in both directions between Palama Street and the eastbound H-1 Freeway On-Ramp for road repairs and landscape maintenance.

8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday: Right lane closure in the northbound direction between North King Street and Vineyard Boulevard for sidewalk reconstruction.

— MIDDLE STREET —

KALIHI 
7 p.m.-4 a.m. Tuesday through the morning of Saturday, Sept. 12: Alternating lane closures in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. There will also be a 24/7 southbound median lane closure and sidewalk closure on the west side of Middle Street. Signage will be posted instructing pedestrians to use the east sidewalk.
