The Dept. of Public Safety reports that OCCC work furlough inmate Isaiah Kaisa failed to return from work early Sunday morning.
He was scheduled to return at 3:30 a.m. State Sheriffs and Honolulu Police were notified.
Kaids is 27, 6-foot-3, 259 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes.
He is serving time for forgery, identity theft, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, and ownership or possession of a prohibited weapon. His next parole hearing is scheduled for June.
Kaisa is a community custody inmate in the work furlough program. Inmates in the program are either actively seeking employment or working in the community. Community custody is the lowest classification status.
