Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam Morale, Welfare and Recreation
Morale, Welfare and Recreation Information, Tickets & Travel (ITT) will hold the 2014 Leisure and Travel Showcase (LTS) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Pearl Harbor Navy Exchange courtyard. Admission is free.
The event will include vendors from the travel industry, entertainment and prize giveaways. This year’s grand prize will be an all-expense-paid trip for one.
“The goal of the event is for patrons to gain knowledge on activities or travel after the summer season has ended. The event lets people know what we (ITT) offer, such as mainland theme park tickets and travel reps who can help you plan a trip,” said Yvette Perez-Iwatsu, ITT ticket manager.
More than two dozen vendors will be on hand to provide advice on Hawaii and mainland activities and attractions.
“The vendors at the LTS provide first hand information on the facilities and also the amenities they offer, such as the spas, restaurants and other activities. They help explain the uniqueness of each property and location,” said Terri Dinubilo, ITT travel connections manager.
There are no sales at the event. However, if patrons wish to book something they found out about at the showcase, the ITT at the Navy Exchange will be open. For more information on the showcase or ITT offerings, call 473-0792.
