Military helps with beach cleanup

More than 50 volunteers from U.S. Pacific Command, Joint Intel Ops Center (PACOM JIOC) participate in a beach cleanup from “Dog Beach” to the Ahua Reef restored wetlands held May 2 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The nearly mile-long Ahua Reef beach shoreline along the coast of Oahu provides a refuge for rare wetland plants and animals. U.S. Navy photos by MC1 Daniel Barker
