Mapunapuna Street is closed between Pa’a and Pukoloa Streets Saturday afternoon after a water main burst.
Police responded to the call around 1:30 p.m. to help block off the roadway.
The Board of Water Supply says that two nearby businesses, a health care center and First Hawaiian Bank , are without water as a result of the break.
However, no water wagon will be placed there because both businesses are closed.
The break did result in a partially flooded roadway on the west side of Servco Auto.
Repairs are expected to take all night.
The 12-inch water main was installed in 1962.
