Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews are continuing their work to repair a break to a 12-inch water main on Dillingham Boulevard at the Kohou Street intersection in Kalihi.
The repair work has resulted in the closure of two Ewa-bound lanes on Dillingham Boulevard between Kokea and Kohou Streets. All lanes on Kohou Street between Dillingham Boulevard and Kaumualii Street are also closed. Motorists are advised to exercise caution when traveling near the work area and to use alternate routes where possible.
Repair work is expected to continue throughout the day. No customers are affected. The water main was installed in 1930.
The break was reported at approximately 2 p.m. Monday.
